Deborah Morris joined the staff of Newsday in 1998 and has held several editing and reporting jobs. She currently covers the town of Huntington.
Michael R. Ebert is a researcher on the Long Island Desk at Newsday, where he primarily handles school-related news. He joined the staff in 2003.
During his career, the Lake Ronkonkoma resident has worked for local media outlets including Summer Life Magazine, Telecare, Institutional Investor Newsletters, Suffolk Life Newspapers, The Long Island Forum, The Ronkonkoma Review, The Suffolk County News, the Islip Bulletin and StaffWriters Plus.
In his spare time, he enjoys listening to progressive rock and watching The Amazin' Mets.
Tim Healy has been an editor at Newsday since 1979. He is responsible for much of the LI Life section on Sundays and is also helping develop this very local portion of Newsday's Web site devoted to covering the 21 communities in the town of Huntington.

Lida Russo lives and works in Huntington. She is a licensed realtor with Prudential Douglas Elliman of Huntington and travel consultant of 20 years with KPT Travel.
Prior to Lida's real estate career, she worked with Sabena Belgian World Airlines as their assistant tour manager.
