The Observer posts this video of new Democratic Senate Majority Leader Malcolm Smith meeting with Bloomberg in City Hall on Friday.
After Bloomberg leaves, Smith is asked about seating and giving a chairmanship to (accused) girlfriend slasher Hiram Monserrate, and does some bobbing and weaving. Also note the references to Buffalo, Rochester and NYC, and the absence of references to LI:
