Suozzi is in that classical NY state of mind
Hillary Rodham Clilnton's imminent departure from the U.S. Senate brings Gov. David A. Paterson a step closer to choosing a replacement. Tonight, Nassau Executive Thomas Suozzi held a fundraiser at the Oheka Castle where a violin and piano performance provided the entertainmen, one of the attendees tells us. Suozzi reportedly said he chose classical music because he considered it "very senatorial." After that, Suozzi introduced the band "Big Shot," whose first song was Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind." Hint, hint. Hear that, governor?
