Chuck Schumer, who already is on record supporting Attorney Generals who ignore prosecutors and "lean favorable" on pardoning rich, well-connected, Israeli tax-dodging fugitives, also goes on record supporting Treasury Secretaries who don't pay their taxes.
"In my opinion, these mistakes were not at all disqualifying. I continue to strongly support his nomination and given the tough economic conditions, hope we can confirm him as quickly as possible."
