Skelos: Dining with a Gang leader
Dean Skelos is in Puerto Rico, dining tonight with Pedro Espada, one of the leaders of the "Gang of Four" Democrats trying to leverage themselves into kingmakers in the Senate. For all the machinations, Democratic Leader Malcolm Smith doesn't seem that worried about the group bolting en masse:
“This is an historic time for Democrats in the state and everybody gets that. We have 32 Democrats and if Dean wants to meet with them, he has a right to do that.”
