Schumer and Palin: First Friends of the Hunter
Before this, you would have had a hard time coming up with things that Chuck Schumer and Sarah Palin have in common -- except, maybe, their mutual love of the photo-op.
But it turns out they appear together in Field & Stream Magazine's 2008 "Hero" awards:
"Two politicians did make the magazine’s Hero list: New York Senator Charles Schumer, who backed a Farm Bill measure that created grants for farmers and opened land to hunters; and Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, who was lauded for being the first true hunter to run for executive office since Teddy Roosevelt."
On the other side, Arnold Schwarzenegger was labelled a Villain for cutting funding for fish restoration and signing a ban on .50 caliber rifles. Read about it here.
