Exit polls: How he won Ohio
We just checked the full Ohio exit polls:
Obama won men and women, won all age groups except the oldest. He virtually split both white men (46-52) and white women (48-51) in a state that was the home of Joe the Plumber. He won among voters who cared most about energy, health care, Iraq and the economy -- losing only among those who were concerned about terrorism.
He won independents 52-45. He lost white Catholics, but only 47-52. The only group he lost decisively: White evangelicals, 29-70. But that was only 30 percent of the Ohio electorate.
