Sarah and bears: Species, or fashion accessories?
Sarah Palin has been famously hostile to polar bears as actual living things.
She wrote a column in the NYTimes complaining that, despite the ice pack melt that was eroding their habitat and numbers, they did not need protection. She even sued the Bush Interior Department over listing the bears as endangered species, arguing that it would interfere with oil and gas development.
She's entitled to her opinion. But isn't it odd that someone who's not real solicitous of the flesh and blood bears seems to dearly love them as a fashion accessory? Like, why doesn't she wear an oil derrick pin???

I guess you just love looking at Sarah Palin, I guess you have a fixation on her. Do you have her picture in your locker at the gym ?
