Report: McCain out of Michigan
A report here that McCain is pulling out of Michigan to concentrate resources elsewhere.
That's important hard news and an important sign of his decline.
It was viewed by the GOP as a prime possibility to pick up a blue state. But Obama is moving in Ohio, Virginia, Florida, among others.
Those are more important places to deploy resources.
And: As McCain moves to defense, there's an expectation that his campaign will get more negative this month.
He has to bring Obama down.
