Blakeman: Suspended, pending Mike

On the bus from the tightly secured parking lot to the tightly secured debate hall at Hofstra, we ran into Bruce Blakeman, the former Nassau presiding officer who had begun running for the GOP line for mayor before Bloomberg announced his "third term" plans.
He would say only that he's suspending his campaign for now, pending events....
