RNC: More Rudy blowback

Earlier, a longtime Republican quietly confirmed something that is not the least bit PC at the St. Paul convention: Relief -- after watching Giuliani's overwrought performance -- at the knowledge that McCain, and not the former mayor, would be getting the nomination here.

Here's a question from a Republican reader versed in matters New York City: How outraged could the former mayor be, really, about the questions turning on the capability of Palin's motherhood, when he once snarled during a call-in radio show at a woman whose son was shot to death by the NYPD, saying she should have done a better job raising her son?

No biggie. Maybe it'll come up during the Upper East Sider/ Hamptonite's confirmation for attorney general or secretary of education, if the Democratic side of the duopoly still holds the Senate.
