McCain on Spain II: The gaffe sounds like a gaffe

We've listened to the McCain interview with Miami's Radio Caracol in English now, and it's clearly a gaffe. He's thinking about Latin America and doesn't seem to be able to register that Zapatero is the PM of Spain, even when the interviewer says he's the PM of Spain. Either that -- or McCain actually thinks Zapatero may be an enemy of the US.

It's causing a flurry over in Spain.

You can listen to the full interview by clicking on the English version hyperlink below -- the Zapatero questions are at the end:

Or, TPM has put the segment relating to Venezuela, Bolivia, Cuba and then Zapatero in a YouTube file. You can listen to that right here:

I've heard this several times and, yes, McShame certainly sounds confused about whether the interviewer is STILL talking about Latin America...but, when she said "What about ______?" it does NOT sound like she said EUROPE even if she goes on to say "I'm tallking about SPAIN!"...so the big deal shouldn't be about his saying "What about ME?"...as I've heard several commentators say.

The night of the fight, you may feel a slight sting. That's pride f*cking with you. F*ck pride. Pride only hurts, it never helps.
