DNC: Quotes from pro-Hillary Clinton march

hillary-clinton-march.jpg

What they're saying at the protest/march by 18 Million Voices, which advocates for women's rights and is celebrating Hillary Clinton's achievements.

Toni Alves, PUMA (Party Unity My A__) member, San Francisco

"I’m marching because of the treatment Hillary received during the primaries. She was treated so unfairly by the media and the DNC,and no one stood up to say anything about it until after they’d asked her to leave. And that was ridiculous. The media totally geared and led this campaign.

"Obama wasn’t elected, he was selected. If you look at all the caucus fraud, you’ll see his delegate lead was only in the red states. …she won the popular vote and she should be the nominee.

"We’re here to represent Hillary Clinton and show her that we’re not going to follow the party line like we’ve always done. Four years ago, we held our noses and voted for Kerry. We didn’t think he was the best candidate. But we’ve always voted democratic. I’ve been a Democrat for 40 years this year, and if Obama is the nominee I’ll vote for McCain.

"I will not support Obama. He’s not qualified. The whole system was totally fraudulent. He claimed to be something before, in the primaries, that was different, that was a new kind of politics, but he’s not. He’s not Washington politics, he’s Chicago-style politics and that’s even worse.

"These people are trying to scare us about Roe v. Wade. Well, you know what? I am beyond my reproductive years. I don’t care. it’s time for these young Obama women who think it’s so cool to support him, they can worry about their own reproductive rights.

We can’t see why so many people can’t see it.

Diane Schrack, Highlands Ranch, Colorado, artist

"One of the basic fundamental platforms of the DNC is against sexism. During the primary race, the DNC was not only silent but in some cases participated in sexism. None of the leadership of the Democratic Party – Howard Dean, Donna Brazile, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid -- none of them came out and said sexism is wrong, don’t do it.

'Because it was OK on the upper level, the national level, it was OK on the local level, too. The DNC is deeply guilty. It’s so frustrating. It makes me want to become an unaffiliated voter. I am a Democrat. My goal is to make Democrats think about what we’re losing here. If we’re going to give up women in this race, who’s next? Who are they going to give up next time?

"Antisemitism? Let’s have a little bit of that. Or next time let’s have a little bit of racism, or maybe have a little bit of gay bashing next time.

"They sacrificed women because they could take their vote for granted, and that is not what Democrats stand for !"

Pretty sad if this election comes down to emotional baggage!!! I have a friend that poses as a "Hillary supporter" on message boards and says she (He really) is not voting Obama and is now voting McCain...he sits back an laughs, calling Hillary supporters 'EASY SHEEP"

These are Republican in disguise wolfs in sheep skin
We know it !!!!!

If Senator Clinton says it's important to unify the Democratic party and vote for Obama, we would be nuts to do anything else. Voting for McCain as a protest against Obama defeats the purpose of the election. Even though the two candidates are flawed, vote for the one who is the more qualified, regardless of party affiliation.

"These people are trying to scare us about Roe v. Wade. Well, you know what? I am beyond my reproductive years. I don’t care. it’s time for these young Obama women who think it’s so cool to support him, they can worry about their own reproductive rights."

Well, there it is. Menopausal women shouting "You go!" like a bunch of crazed harpies.

Tom, wow, so what many of us suspect is true.
That comment from one of the older woman about not caring about reproducitve rights since she's past childbearing age is so telling. It shows how personal and self-abosrbed this PUMA thing is.
Did any of them question whether or not HRC is the best woman leader we have now? Can anyone doubt that Obama is 20 times the feminist McCain is.

I find it endlessly fascinating that these people can equate losing a primary election with sexism. Especially when the Clinton campaign used "dog whistle" racist hyperbole in West Virginia and elsewhere.

"Hard-Working White Middle-Class Workers" indeed.

Quite frankly, they have no real credibility whatsoever. As a close observer of these people, it is my opinion that a good number of them are Republican operatives and the rest are shills, with a thinly hidden veneer of racism.

Obama should have chosen Hillary Clinton as his running mate. They would have been an unbeatable duo. It would also have shown he does not fear powerful women, but can work with them. If McCain wins, it is because of this. If Obama can backtrack on his selection, he should do so now.

The bots will pay!! Obama, Dunham, Soetoro or whoever he is is going down,...

By the way, how come the MSM isn't reporting this?

http://www.americasright.com/2008/08/obama-sued-in-philadelphia-federal.html

Soetoro is probably NOT eligible!! So have some more Hopium and fill your cup with Fool-Aid!!

What Democratic woman would vote for John McCain who will do away with our long fought and hard won battle for freedom of choice in the most personal decision a woman can make?

What Democratic woman would vote for John McCain whose own proposal for cutting VA expenses would exclude 'non-combat related' benefits for any PTSD or other emotional problems suffered by the 15% of female military combat troops who have been raped.

What Democratic woman would allow herself to be used by the Republican party?

Yes, it's disappointing Hillary lost but there is no reason to cut off our noses to spite our face or to 'rob' our own daughters and grand daughters of the rights that took generations of women to secure.

The bots will pay!! Obama, Dunham, Soetoro or whoever he is is going down,...

I really like Hillary, but it is not her time and that is not going to change. Barack is the choice and I can not believe that a true Democrat would vote for McCain-Bush. Get over it and get a Democrat in the White House..

If you think these women are Republicans disguised as Democrats than you must be ppretty dissallusioned. There are plenty of Hillary supporters that are jumping ship because they see Barack Hussein Obama for what he is and know better than to elect another Carter to office. Most of the posts/quotes all say the same thing. Hillary voters are breaking the ranks and voting for the more qualified candidate John McCain. The rest of you need to wake up and realize what is lying in store for you with Obama.

Rank and file Republican and proud of it!

I love how the news can't seem to show more than 5 women in their pics of supposed massive PUMA rallies.

One news station chose not to show a pic but stated that 'several' attended a rally.

This is why nobody believes the conservative biased media anymore

It's a good thing you don't get to be President like you get a job in the real world. Obama's interview would either be extremely short or he would try to smooth-talk his way into the position, and from the way things are looking now, fail miserably.

Hillary 2012!

Sounds like some of these ladies need a man with a strong hand to keep them in line. I guess they must all be rich, with maids to do the cooking and cleaning, since they feel it's fine to travel the country wasting their time on a lost cause like Mrs. Bill Clinton.

Ayers, Auchi, Razko,Odingo,Annenberg Challenge,...Alice Palmer, etc. Anybody who is willing to put in one minute of research on Obama?Soetoro will NEVER vote for this Chicago style scam artist!!
Get off of Obama's website and get informed!

Country before party!!

This lifelong Democrat is ashamed of the 3 stooges, Pelosi, Coward Dean and Reid!!

Tom is dead on about these sore losers being easy pickings for either not voting or voting for McCain out of bitterness. I am a republican and even I can admit that George W, Bush 2nd term has been a disaster. I predict that the democrats will find a way to lose regardless. When you are the party of "identity politics" you should not be surprised when it comes around to bite you in the tocks'.

I agree, most of these complainers are really Republicans. But just in case there are any out there who are deluded that McCain is a better choice, consider the blatant offensively sexist behavior of the man.

McCain recently attended the Sturgis motorcycle rally and touted it afterwards as a “great cultural experience.” Well, and wasn’t he a fine part of it too, offering up to the biker participants the image of his wife, and ostensible first lady, participating in the "Miss Buffalo Chip" bikini (and historically, sometimes sans-bikini) contest. In case you missed it, here's the quote: “I was looking at the Sturgis schedule and noticed that you have a beauty pageant and so I encouraged Cindy to compete,” McCain said to cheers from the (mostly male) crowd. “With a little luck, she could be the only woman ever to serve as both the first lady and Miss Buffalo Chip.”

Nice. And why wasn't the MSM all over this quote? If someone else had said it about any past or prospective first lady, you'd know we'd be hearing about this "degrading" remark for weeks.

Anyone who’s read McCain’s history knows that this is not the only, and far from most offensive, thing he’s had to say publicly about his wife (calling her a "c**t" in public) or other women including Hillary and Chelsea Clinton!

He’s also said he takes ‘complete responsibility’ for the failure of his first marriage; but part of really taking responsibility means working to change your attitude. In terms of respecting women, he’s got a long way to go; and his present attitude, for a man who aspires to represent the interests of the women of America, falls way short of meeting the job requirements.

No one who cares about sexism in politics should even think of voting for McCain.

What is this BS about DNC hnot standing up for sexism? Sexism? Where was it? When did Obama say anything about women?who was the one crying one day before the primary? Wasnt it Clinton who compared Obama to Jesse Jackson? HRC supporters are just plain illogical. I met a woman, who said she was supporting Hillary because she was a woman, but took exception with a black supporting Obama. She goes "Blacks are voting for him because he is..black". Well, what are YOU doing lady? I disagree with both her and the blacks who vote for Obama cause he is black, but you get the drift..Some women go WAY too far in order to show their feminist traits. And hey, go vote for McCain if you want to. But then, dont come back and complain. And yes, Voting for McCain because Hillary did not win the nomination just shows how logically you think. Its a case of sour grapes, like a 10 year old child.

I am one of those Hillary supporters who switched to McCain. Obama abused the caucus system to hijack the primary. He is worse than Bush 2000 in Florida. I am so discusted with the process, it is a hypocritical lie to call it "democratic".

I will not vote for democrats again in a presidential primary or presidential election until they fix the flawed system they have now. They disenfranchise millions of voters and blamed it on the "rules". MY VOTE COUNTS.

Obama is going to lose this election all by himself.

Dear Hillary2012:

The omission of a candidate's name from the tickets in two states qualifies those states to be disenfranchised.

So, the fact that both Michigan and Florida omitted Obama's name from the primaries means they were looking at his skin color? Or maybe it was his middle name?

Maybe we should *all* be paranoid. Example:

Obama supporters can be paranoid that militant feminists can't get past the color of their candidates skin.

McSame supporters can be paranoid that... their candidate may rust some more.

Hillary supporters can be paranoid that when she loses the primary, it's because men hate women and don't want them to succeed.

I hear a lot of these so-called *Hillary* women, but not sure whether to classify them as militant feminists, nutcases, or lifelong McSame supporters.

(PS: May I suggest consulting an online dictionary for proper spelling?)

O... M... G.

I just figured it out.

It's the tree huggers vs. the Bush huggers.

But the Bush huggers are migrating towards McSame, because he represents... AARP? Subscribes to Senior Journal? Is older than Ozzy?

As for this much-touted commercial of the McSame convert (some fugly chick who was a Hillary delegate, but is now a full-on McSame groupie)? Don't let the door hit ya' where the good lord split ya'.

(Fact: Sore losers are a dime a dozen.)

Finally: I'm not a practitioner of Islam. But my religious choice recognizes religious equality. John McCain will work to remove Islam from American culture. Think I'm wrong?

My America is a loving and accepting America, where everyone is created equal. Not the AmeriKKKa of McSame & his pastors vision.

Dear M. Sampson:

You said: "It's a good thing you don't get to be President like you get a job in the real world. Obama's interview would either be extremely short or he would try to smooth-talk his way into the position, and from the way things are looking now, fail miserably.

Hillary 2012!"

I say: "If I worked at a company, and it was bleeding money, failing miserably, and the president of the company didn't know which way is up, a candidate that interviewed and tells me *as his interviewer* "Obviously, the way you're doing business is not getting the job done. Give me the job. I'm an outsider. I will change the way this company does business, increase the company's standing in the community, increase the profit margin, start the company on the road to getting out of debt, and try to get the workers behind me".

I would say: "You're hired".

After all, the current *company* president isn't exactly interested in saving the *company*. And he has a board member in his pocket who wants to carry-on the tradition's of the current *company* president.

(PS: Obama/Biden 08)

Reasons I won't vote for Obama:

1. His lack of judgement regarding Reverand Wright, Tony Rezko, Bill Ayers of WeatherUnderground

2. Not enough experience and Equal Opportunity Employment doesn't apply to the most powerful job in the world.

3. True leaders take a stand -(You can't vote PRESENT in the Oval Office). How come as editor of the Harvard Law Review he contributed no articles? A little too shady for my tastes.

4. He's using the same CHANGE/HOPE message that his friend Deval Patrick (1st black governor of Massachusetts) used and Deval Patrick hasn't delivered on his promises.

5.

If Obama's "lack of experience" immediately disqualifies him as a candidate in your eyes, then why don't you consider those that have been elected that HAVE had experience. Bush for example. He had the experience of being Governor of Texas AND having his daddy as president. And look where his "experience" has led us now.

In fact, since you're so focused on who's been in politics longer, we might as well just do away with the 2 term limit all together, because after all, a President with 2 terms under his belt is more "experienced" and "qualified," right?

How about this: come back with a real reason to dislike Obama instead of what you parrot from McCain ads.

OH boy. Wonder if these feminine supremacists are gonna flee the country when they get McCain elected.

McCain just picked a woman as vice-President! It's a sign in the heavens, people! Let's vote for him just like we did Mondale-Ferrero. Afterall, Geraldine admitted that they just picked her because she was a woman. And we've already admitted that's why we're pissed....Obama ISN'T a woman. So it stands to reason that...McCain-Palin will go down in flames just like Mondale-Ferraro did. Wait...that's too logical. LIES, ALL LIES!Let me try again.

McCain is reaching out for the woman's vote because he doesn't have any balls left...no wait...because he understands our anger. Yeah, that's the ticket. So let's vote for him under the guise that we're voting for the first female VP and cut that Obama's nuts off...oh my...did I channnel Jesse Jackson? Well, he is angry with Obama for the same reason we are...he spoiled our plans. Not politics, no drastically differing opinions....but just like when a sporting event doesn't go our way. In short, politics has become a spectator sport wth big foam fingers using alternate digits, not an ideological challenge for the greater good.

An older woman taunting the younger generation of women by threatening to make a political crap-shoot out of their reproductive rights, because they DIDN'T support their candidate? That's unbelievable. She must be a joy to be around. Kind of like a nuclear strike over a border squirmish. Thank God she wasn't an architect of the Women's Movement...just someone who enjoyed the rights others obtained for her, and just as soon as she doesn't need it anymore, slams the door in spite. Like Clarence Thomas on affirmative action. Receipient then Gate Keeper. You want more like him, vote for McCain.

But that's neither here nor there. McCain is dangling a woman on the ticket. Go get it...go get it. You know you want to. But let's sort this thing out right now: Democrat or fascist. Which are you?
and may you live long enough to come to grips with your decision. Because an entire generation s going to have to.

The far left worships their liberal leader. The far right still lives in fear of the Clintons. With nonsensical arguments from their respective sides they blog attacks against Hillary and her supporters. The candidate that shows sufficient maturity not to take 18 million voters for granted will win the election. Right now McCain is the candidate on that path.

But does the McCain gimmick have "legs" and staying power?
It could. But that will also give us a clearer view of what the real U.S. demographics are, more than all the polls that have come before.

The question will finally be answered: what does it really come down to in U.S. politics? I for one, want to know. Get the National Enquirer in here to tell us what is real and what is self-delusion.

Obama's own camouflaged misogyny and extreme disrespect for his political opponent can be found in his immature, juvenile rapper-wannabe performance the day after his pathetic Pa.ABC debate -- Youtube's infamous:

"Obama Gives Hillary the F!nger" -- JayZrapper act

You'll see Barack dusting and scraping off his shoes (as excrement) HIllary before flip-offinbg her (giving the bird) smirking and waiting for his fans to 'clue in'! Absolutely unmissable to see the real Obama!

"Periodically, Hillary feels down and starts launching attacks..." is another gem Barack fired off.

Meantime, the misogynist media frat-boys daily ambush and assault on HIllary Clinton ensured this inexperienced, arrogant Chicago political sewer product was pushed to the 'finish' line of superdels. The DNC was silent and so was Obama throughout the media Hillary-bashing! It was Obama's campaign infamous Weapon of Mass Destruction!

Come November you can see this at a theatre close to you:

"Women voters Give Barack he F!nger" -- premieres Nov. 5,2008!

Sweetie will get over it....

To all you nay sayers. I was in the march in Denver and am happy and married. I have voted democart for 32 years. my husband 36 years. We actually investigated Obama and saw how everything unfolded in front of our eyes. The caucaus fraud, the sexism, the back deal negotiations in Florida and even at the convention the back deal delegate breakfast where they did the roll call where barack obama and hillary clinton were neck and neck. super delegats were going to vote for Hillary and she would of won. I don't know what happened from the morning to the fake roll call on the 27th and why Hillary called it off but it must of been allot of pressure. Her supporter being threatened, murdered and all you have the nerve to say what you are saying. There were 1500 hillary supporters that spread 3 long blocks long and 6 lanes wide. We were all Hillary supporter who paid thier own ways to get to Denver. This is how much we love our candidate. There will be no way Barack Obama will be elected. There may be some who switch but even some of her delegate will not vote for him. Obama had his face plastered on sides of buildings like in china communist country. For all of you who have not listened or did your homework, I would. As far a Rove v Wade it will not be over turned. It would be like over turning the bolt decision and I believe Mccain will work with Hillary on our health care. You do not harbor a criminal or your are an accessory to the crime, why would you vote for someone who is turning our country into a mockery and crushing our democracy. Wake up!

Most of what you have written is tripe. As a 36 year INDEPENDENT voting both sides of the aisle, I've seen the same kind of unsubtantiated crap written about every opponent, none of it able to be supported, only mindlessly regurtitated like most of this.
75% of what you've written on can be found verbatum on assorted website/blogs dedicated to this kind of unreasoned diatribe, so I know it by heart, too. It's not the tripe that offends me, it's the absolutely lazy manner in which it is delivered, without parapharasing, delivered in it's entirety, entirely the way the read it. Let's take it point by plagerized point shall we:

To all you nay sayers. I was in the march in Denver and am happy and married. have voted democart for 32 years. my husband 36 years.

**Who cares, what's your point?

I We actually investigated Obama and saw how everything unfolded in front of our eyes. The caucaus fraud,

**Every one uses this "reason" but no one has pointed out WHAT fraud occurred on the caucus level. In other words, it's a sound bit that stuck.

the sexism,

**You mean when Geraldine Ferraro said she was only a token woman in 1984? Yeah, I recall that. Then when peopple took offense to her insiuation of the contrapositive position with Obama, she cried sexism...so we're not supposed to "hit girls" even when they say stupid things. Yeah...that's sexism alright...

the back deal negotiations in Florida

**You mean the backdoor deal where he took his name off the ballot....tell us all about it and how that benefted Obama.

**and even at the convention the back deal delegate breakfast where they did the roll call where barack obama and hillary clinton were neck and neck.

I watched the convention...what roll call are you referring to...the abbreviated one or the...wait a minute....that was the only OFFICIAL one there was. I understand they were in negotiation about that roll call for a week. Where did the one-soded subtrfuge come in? Oh, right...if you plot for control, it's OK, but if they fight back it's "wrong".If not, please illuminate us...or else go back to the blog you got this crap from and ask them?

super delegats were going to vote for Hillary and she would of won.

***Ooooo, a psychic, I see. You probably can't predict your next bowel movement, less known something as complex as shifting loyalties of delegates. Do you have inside information the rest of us don't or is this just more 'all in my mind fiction." Shunting theories around like facts.

I don't know what happened from the morning to the fake roll call on the 27th and why Hillary called it off but it must of been allot of pressure.

***Maybe Hillary is a genuine politician and you're just a clueless hack. But, that's just a guess.

Her supporter being threatened, murdered and all you have the nerve to say what you are saying.

***Oh now THAT'S almost libelous...who are you trying blame for the death of the Little Rock delegate>

There were 1500 hillary supporters that spread 3 long blocks long and 6 lanes wide.

***Bunch of fatties, eh?

We were all Hillary supporter who paid thier own ways to get to Denver. This is how much we love our candidate.

**But let me finish your sentence..."That's why we're all going to vote McCain." Yeah...makes sense.

There will be no way Barack Obama will be elected. There may be some who switch but even some of her delegate will not vote for him.

**Some wouldn't vot for her either so what's that have to do with anything? But, please...do contine...

Obama had his face plastered on sides of buildings like in china communist country.

** Obama = Commie, I get it. Hillary had her pants suits plastered in more magazines than Abacrombie and Fitch...once again, so what?

For all of you who have not listened or did your homework,
** obviously you haven't done your English homework but I digress...

I would. As far a Rove v Wade it will not be over turned.
**or your math homework, either. Let's see, count the number of Supreme Court justices now, then start adding more conservative ones (use your toes if necessary) and you'll see the inbalance....but then again you always prefer fiction to hard, cold numbers and facts anyway. So tell us, oh great psychic one with insight....why won't Roe v Wade be overturned?

It would be like over turning the bolt decision

**Gah!!!! Kind of a senseless remark even for this perspective. Since when has Bolt been a hot button issue on par with Roe v Wade.

and I believe Mccain will work with Hillary on our health care.
***Maybe. And Obama WON'T is the implication..or is this just another veiled endorsement for McCain?

You do not harbor a criminal or your are an accessory to the crime

** So you're saying we're all war criminals for not impeaching Bush. Oh, great...

, why would you vote for someone who is turning our country into a mockery and crushing our democracy.

**I'd LOVE to hear how a single man is going to crush democracy by being democratically elected when someone like Gore (who won the popular vote in 2000) was supplanted by a man who raised not a hint of such "panic" in 8 years. And don't get me started on mockery. Amazing selective memory and outrage.

Wake up!

**We have. You're as clueless as you are bitter, unable to come to a reasonably informed opinion, relying instead on talking points, posted by an unabashed Obama hater. Can we go back to sleep now? Hey, I don't like Obama either, but the parroting of uninformed idiots are making us all look like....idiots.
Tell me something "factually true" and something "pertinently scary" without passing on slanderous chain-mails. Or just stay on the porch and bark.

"Sweetie will get over it"

I love it when spiteful losers gloat too soon. Ducking these kinds of comments reminds me of Hillary Clinotn running across that tramac under sniper fire. Or that time she learned of racism from the black goalie while on a soccer team her private school high school didn't even have until Hillary was in law school. Or the "vast right-wing conspiracy" she suggested was falsely accusing her husband of sexism. I mean getting a blow-job. Or the land deal that created multiples of return on investment. She got over it. The Arkansas State Patrol covering for Bill's affairs as governor got over it. So did everyone else, I guess. It's all water under the bridge...and speaking of water, what ever happened with White Water? Or Travelgate? What's it like being on the board of Walmart? Does it approach Chicago style corruption or is it just Hillbillies in hats?

Sorry, got caught up in all the talk of sexism, I didn't call a spade a spade. Oops. My bad again. I hope the Obama people don't get spooked and think everything is about RACE now. Sorry, I'm just a sexist, bigot and none of my words come out right. Hey, I'm George Bush! OK, have I officially insulted EVERYBODY fairly and equally now? And I can't think of a single reason I don't like Hillary because she's a woman. But, you wanna talk lies, let's get down to it and TALK lies. Hillary would be a Republican's wet dream with all the crap they have on her. At least they have to search further with Obama. I'm sure he stole something. Oh yeah, the nomination!
