Pictures: Obama in Baghdad
The McCain campaign's shrewd effort to get Obama to take a big foreign trip reaps more returns! Here's a picture of Obama meeting with Iraqi president Jalal Talabani, and Obama in a helicopter scoping out Baghdad with Gen. David Petraeus.
Since the argument that you can't make sound foreign policy judments without going on meaningless Congressional junkets for photo-ops doesn't make much sense in the first place, it's kind of poetic justice that McCain now has to suffer through coverage of a meaningless Obama Congressional junket filled (so far) with good photo ops:

After Obama's whirlwind overseas trip ... he said:
“In terms of me governing, being an effective president, that that trip was helpful, because I think I’ve established relationships and a certain bond of trust with key leaders around the world who have taken measure of my positions and how I operate and I think can come away with some confidence that this is somebody I can deal with."
And ... here is what he actually did on his trip ... you decide if these 9 days of photo ops were enough to establish Obama as a trusted world leader ...
