Bill: "Cavernous narcissism"

The big media talker of the weekend is a new Vanity Fair piece more or less trashing Bill Clinton, his post presidential lifestyle, and his performance in the Hillary campaign.
Titled, cleverly, "The Comeback Id," the piece discusses Clinton's "rat pack" of mega-rich buddies, his various courtiers, his more apparent anger, and his "cavernous narcissism."
Clinton, apparently, has distributed a 2400 word memo trashing the article, which you can read here. One line:
"Most revealing is one simple fact: President Clinton has helped save the lives of 1,300,000 people in his post-presidency, and Vanity Fair couldn't find time to talk to even one of them for comment."
Presumably a reference to his work raising money to combat HIV/AIDS. But also an indication of the huge reservoir of respect Clinton has for himself.

You remember all my posts about "Bill's ID", Monsters of the "ID" who do not want Hillary Soprano to win, and will anything to make sure she losses and Bill stays number One.
I guess the editors of Vanity Fair have been reading my rants and post.
