Clinton spokesman Howard Wolfson, on CNN, pulls out several old Clinton canards. The rules must be changed and will be changed on Michigan! And Florida! And:
"No president has won the presidency without West Virginia since Woodrow Wilson."
True -- except, no Democrat has won the presidency since Wilson without Minnesota. And Obama won Minnesota.
And no Democrat has won the presidency without winning Missouri since Missouri entered the union.
And Obama won Missouri.
And Hubert Humphrey, Adlai Stevenson and Michael Dukakis all won West Virginia. And lost the presidency.
So what's the point of citing a bogus anecdote and trying to mislead millions of Americans listening to him on TV?
Why not limit yourself to valid points instead of phony ones?
Why not try to inform people instead of trick them?
