Supers: Three heavyweights for Obama
Two members of the Congressional Democratic leadership and a labor leader give the superdelegate nod to Obama, bringing him five new delegates on the day to none for Clinton.
The Congressmen are both heavyweights -- Rep. Henry Waxman (left), chair of the House Oversight Committee, and Rep. Howard Berman (right), chairman of House Foreign Affairs. Both are from California, and both are Jewish -- a voting bloc Obama probably will need to tend fairly constantly.
Also: He gets Communications Workers of America president Larry Cohen. The union itself hasn't endorsed. Cohen: “Senator Obama is uniquely positioned to broaden the Democratic Party base and lead the party to election gains at every level this year as well as reclaiming the White House."
