Super Thursday: Two more, already

joeandrew.jpg

It's not even 9 am yet, and we have Joe Andrew, former DNC chairman and superdelegate, switching from Clinton to Obama in the name of unification of the party, while John Olsen, head of the Connecticut AFL CIO, is about to endorse Hillary. (Via Politico).

Andrew, an Indianan named DNC head by Bill Clinton, had endorsed Hillary when she announced last year: "I am convinced that the primary process has devolved to the point that it's now bad for the Democratic Party."

He also praised Obama for opposing the McCain/Clinton idea of a gas tax holiday, and for his handling of Wright: "He has shown such mettle under fire. The Jeremiah Wright controversy just reconfirmed for me, just as the gas tax controversy confirmed for me, that he is the right candidate for our party."

No statement from Olsen yet.
