"Full blooded American:" The new race code?
A syndicated columnist named Kathleen Parker comes up with a fascinating new way to argue that John McCain is better that Barack Obama:
McCain is a "full blooded American." Obama isn't.
But never fear -- it's not about race or being anti-immigrant, she says. It has, apparently, something to do with military guys whose families have lived in American for a long time having more right to be president than a guy from Hawaii whose father was from Africa, and something about all this diversity stuff having gotten out of hand:
"Full-bloodedness is an old coin that's gaining currency in the new American realm. Meaning: Politics may no longer be so much about race and gender as about heritage, core values, and made-in-America. Just as we once and still have a cultural divide in this country, we now have a patriot divide.
"Who 'gets' America? And who doesn't?...
"It's about blood equity, heritage and commitment to hard-won American values. And roots."

Parker is just another right-wing nut-job that wouldn't know the facts if they were handed down from whatever god she believes in.
She seems to ignore that John McCain was born in Panama.
How "full-blooded" is that?
