Embarrassing ministers, Obama edition
Trinity Church continues to be the gift that keeps on taking from Obama.
Making the rounds today: A Sunday guest sermon by Father Michael Pfleger who -- in histrionics that are nearly as annoying as Rev. Jeremiah Wright -- makes fun of Hillary for crying: "I’m white! I’m entitled! There’s a black man stealing my show!" It's unclear what gospel he was illustrating.
Pfleger is apparently a longstanding friend of Obama's. Here's the video. Reaction from Obama, Pfleger, Clinton underneath it:
Here's the reacts:
Obama: “As I have traveled this country, I've been impressed not by what divides us, but by all that that unites us. That is why I am deeply disappointed in Father Pfleger's divisive, backward-looking rhetoric, which doesn't reflect the country I see or the desire of people across America to come together in common cause."
Pfleger: "I regret the words I chose on Sunday. These words are inconsistent with Senator Obama's life and message, and I am deeply sorry if they offended Senator Clinton or anyone else who saw them."
Clinton spokesman Howard Wolfson: "Divisive and hateful language like that is totally counterproductive in our efforts to bring our party together and have no place at the pulpit or in our politics. We are disappointed that Senator Obama didn't specifically reject Father's Pflegler's dispicable comments about Senator Clinton, and assume he will do so."

Who doesn't find this funny? It's hilarious.
I didn't find it funny at all!
From the reation of the good christian people, they evidently believe that all white people should be accountable for things that happened years and years ago.
If that is true and that is how they feel, then everyone that has no Indian blood in them should leave the USA and give the all the land back to the Indians!
Any apology or other means used by Obama to 'distance' himself from controversy should be viewed in the light of Wright's statement that Obama is a politician and he says what a politician should say when questioned, whether that be his true feeling(s), or not.
Why is that everytime someone says something about Hillary who is/was associated Obama, it Obama's fault. The media has everyone believing that Obama is sitting in the pew at the time this was said and did not get up and walk out. Hey, he wasn't there. He is no longer of this church. The media is not truthful in telling the whole story. Also, why is there no large headlines about the Priest who mocked Obama in his prayer at a GOP fundraiser. See, it is all about race. Why can't he be judged by the his experience and not by the color of his skin.
