Derby Day: Hillary wants luck to be a lady

eightbelles1.jpg

The Kentucky Derby is Saturday in Louisville, and Hillary Clinton has made her pick -- Eight Belles:

"I want everybody to place a little money on the filly."

Eight Belles (left) is, of course, a long shot.

With the Kentucky primary -- an expected big win for Clinton -- looming after Indiana and NC, Obama is playing a little Derby politics, too.

On Letterman last night doing the Top Ten, Number 3:

"We are tirelessly working to get the endorsement of Kentucky Derby favorite Colonel John."

It's fairly shocking that neither one opted for "Recapture the Glory," a 20-1 shot.

Maybe that'll be McCain's pick.
