The Obama campaign is still focused on showing how widely dismissed Hillary's gas-holiday plan is among experts. This time, they forward a Huffington Post piece in which the author is unable to find a single energy expert/ economist who supports it. Including this amusing passage:
"I emailed Howard Wolfson, Clinton's spokesperson, asking him to put me in touch with an economic or environmental analyst who favored his boss' plan. He never wrote back." (This is likely premature -- the Clinton press shop is rarely speechless).
After a couple days of bashing, the Obama campaign also goes up with a response ad in Indiana. It's something of a surprise that it uses Obama to answer, instead of the chorus of experts:
