A new Hillary ad for Pennsylvania -- it's a repeat of the (in)famous 3-am-and-the-phone-is-ringing ad she used in Texas, but this time it's targeted at McCain on economic issues instead Obama on national security. She foreshadowed the ad by using the 3 am line on McCain in an economy speech last week.
With a lot of handwringing among Dems about negativity damaging their chances, it's probably smart to go after McCain instead of Obama -- and the Obama ad got enough publicity, that the imagery will remind a lot of Pa. voters of the national security attack on him anyway. But, where's the evidence that Hillary is some kind of economic expert? She admitted last week that half the time she can't understand what Alan Greenspan is talking about.
And: Isn't a sudden, unexpected 3 am economic crisis even less plausible than a middle-of-the-night national security crisis?
