One of the Democratic targets in its campaign to take over the state Senate is Queens Republican Sen. Serphin Maltese. Maltese is up with his first ad. Notice the emergence of Eliot Spitzer as Public Enemy No. 1, threatening to cut health and education, midway through the ad.
Presumably, one of many ways the Republicans will find to remind voters that under one-party rule, the Love Gov would have been in charge of everything:
