British pop star and known expert on quaint American cultural habits Elton John offered his trenchant analysis of the presidential primary at his Manhattan benefit concert for Hillary Clinton last night:
"I never cease to be amazed at the misogynistic attitude of some people in this country. And I say to hell with them."
Millions of Democrats hate women?
Come on. It's way more complicated than that.
We never cease to be amazed by the banality of some celebrities, gushing over other celebrities.
He actually said: "I love you, Hillary, I'll always be there for you." Is this a Diana thing? Is she going to get her own, personal version of Candle in the Wind?
Maybe it would be good if Elton would stick to the music, and leave American voting to American voters.
