Light blogging today en route to Philadelphia for tonight's debate -- quite possibly the last, since they haven't agreed on a date for North Carolina yet.
It's a gorgeous, cloudless day at Independence Mall. The debate will happen at the National Constitution center. Outside the entrance, at Arch and 6th, supporters of the two candidates have congregated, but the show of strength is pretty one-sided -- probably 20-1 for Hillary, an occasional "Hope" sign with the Obama logo in a sea of red, white and blue "Hillary" signs. You can see them through a big picture window in the filing center.
On the way down, however, Obama has announced endorsements from two more superdelegates, both Congressmen from North Carolina. Also: A gun group, the American Hunters and Shooters Association ... And, the Obama campaign sends out an e-mail flagging this story, which says Clinton's ad mix at this point is pretty much 100 percent negative in most of Pennsylvania.
Oh! Almost forgot: There's also a story about a political strategy session in 1995 at Camp David where Hillary, discussing the coolness of working-class southern whites to the Democratic Party, said, "Screw 'em!" Which will certainly help her current efforts to convince working class whites that she cares about them, while Obama is an elitist.

Screw 'Em is what I have to say about the farce of a debate presented by ABC. ABC and its cronies owe the general public and Senator obama a very public apology. What should have been a debate abouot issues turned into a court with 2 prosecuters and a witness for the prosecution.
I don't agree. I think that both candidates had to face up to their recent "mis-speaking". If ever Obama doesn't get the nomination, he will be able for the next election or the one after. There will be pressure on him to produce concrete results in whichever capacity he ends up filling.
If Clinton gets the nomination and wins the election, a MAJORITY which has been hugely under-represented will have found a voice:
WOMEN.
The debate was pathetic.
