Obama-McCain: Warmonger?

mccain45.jpg

Liberal radio host Ed Schultz, warming up the crowd at an Obama fundraiser in North Dakota on Friday, calls John McCain a "warmonger." Obama isn't there, arrives later. McCain's campaign calls on Obama's campaign to denounce it. Obama's campaign does:

“John McCain is not a warmonger and should not be described as such. He’s a supporter of a war that Senator Obama believes should have never been authorized and never been waged.”

Not good enough! This afternoon the McCain campaign is still on it: "This issue won’t be closed until Barack Obama personally and publicly repudiates this smear attack."

The backstory, of course, is that McCain denounced a right-wing radio host from Cincinnati who cept using Obama's middle name during an intro of McCain. But really: Watching this year, you sometimes think the most important task the new president will face will be deciding which insults from which supporters/associates/surrogates need to be denounced, by whom, and exactly how.

Monster? Hussein? Warmonger? Ken Starr? Decisions, decisions, decisions.

Well, since McCain wants to "Bomb, Bomb, Bomb. Bomb, Bomb Iran" and keep US troops in Iraq for 100 years... yeah, he is a warmonger.

Memo to McCain & Staff

You better get use to it. This is only the beginning of it. By the time election day rolls around you will have been called every name in the book and every name not in the book.

In fact the press will be leading and repeating the names. So why fight it. Just say

John McCain WARMONGER FOR PRESIDENT.

ONLY A WARMONGER CAN ANSWER THE PHONE AT 3AM AND MAKE PEACE.

Sometimes a warmonger is just a warmonger

But many times a warmonger is a peace maker.
Maybe it is time for peace thru warmongering.

If you make jokes about war (bomb bomb bomb bomb bomb Iran) and talk about 100 years in Iraq you just might be a warmonger. We care about the Iraq people, we just care about our own kids more! We shouldn't have ONE of our kids over there until EVERY able bodied man in Iraq has taken up arms for his country. We CAN'T be the police for the world. The U.N. should step up.... or disband!
