Witnesses say there was quite a buzz on the floor of the GOP-controlled state Senate earlier during debate on a bill that would make spectators at animal-fighting events — as opposed to bettors or organizers — guilty of a misdemeanor. Sen. Ruben Diaz Sr. (D-Bronx) argued against it, citing cultural differences that he said make the bill unfairly harsh.
When voting time came on the measure, sponsored by John DeFrancisco (R-Onandaga), pictured above, we hear that Sen. Owen Johnson (R-Babylon) raised his hand, thumbs down, indicating “No” — to the pleasure of Democrats, some of whom chanted “OJ!” But then Johnson had a talk with Deputy Majority Leader Dean Skelos (R-Rockville Centre) and one other colleague — and ended up voting “Yes” with the majority.
This is believed to have been a form of rain-delay entertainment as the members wait for budget bills....

So in other words: Owen Johnson woke up from his nap, cast his first independent vote since the Carey administration, then Dean-o beat him down until he rejoined the rest of the sheep. He probably made him pay for the next round of golf too. Ladies and gentlemen, Democracy in action!
Dean the Mean, back again. The greatest trick the Devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist. I can't wait until this guy goes down.
let us all support Obama as the next prezzo in the states
