Most days, it seems like the Clinton campaign has a slow leak -- a Senator here, a superdelegate there, a setback in Michigan or a setback in Florida. None of it fatal if she blows Obama out in Pennsylvania and beyond, but gradually grinding down her options if she doesn't.
Today's tally:
Former President Jimmy Carter, an unaligned superdelegate, pretty much indicates where he's going in an interview from Nigeria:
“We are very interested in the primaries. Don’t forget that Obama won in my state of Georgia. My town which is home to 625 people is for Obama, my children and their spouses are pro- Obama. My grandchildren are also pro- Obama. As a Super Delegate, I would not disclose who I am rooting for but I leave you to make that guess."
Then, here's a story about how Obama is poised to collect five or six new "add-on" superdelegates this weekend -- if you want to understand what they are, read the link.
Finally, just to be helpful, NJ Gov. John Corzine -- a big Hillary person -- goes on TV and off message today, saying in an interview that if she doesn't get a lead in the popular vote, it's probably got to go to Obama:
