Suffolk Democrats had no headline attraction for their $300-per-head fundraiser last week, but honored Patchogue 10-year-old Caitlin Corrigan-Orosco, who with her mother braved a snowstorm to make calls for Hillary Clinton before the Texas and Ohio primaries.
The party gave the youngster a framed copy of the article about her exploits. However, to be fair, the party also called up Legis. Jon Cooper (D-Lloyd Harbor) and gave him a photo of Barack Obama and Cooper.
When Schaffer asked Caitlin if she wanted to say anything, she hesitated at first, but then pronounced that Clinton’s health plan covers everyone. Cooper responded jokingly, “I challenge you to a debate right now.”
