Clintons: Can't seem to let the Richardson dis go

The Clinton camp can't seem to swallow Bill Richardson's endorsement of Obama.
Yesterday, we noted Bill Clinton's tirade when a Hillary-backing California superdelegate brought it up.
Today, there is some complex set of behind-the-back chatter that includes Hillary supposedly telling Richardson in no uncertain terms that Obama can't beat McCain, and Richardson supposedly agreeing, and supposedly providing assurances that he wouldn't endorse Obama.
And this quote sourced to the Clinton side: “Bill Richardson is clearly embarrassed that he broke his promise to them. He should come out and tell the truth and admit that he told both Clintons that Obama wasn’t ready and can’t win.”
We have absolutely no insight into what happened. But from the outside, the Clintons look like crybabies and sore losers. It is so undisciplined that it furthers the impression of a campaign that may be on its way down, and can't accept the idea that somebody might actually prefer the other guy.
Is Bill Richardson's endorsement that important? Not in any obvious way. However justified the Clintons may be in feeling betrayed based on the actual dynamics of what happened, how do they do themselves any good by obsessing over it?
