This story in the Wall Street Journal chronicles Bill Clinton's return to a central place in Hillary's campaign, as her prospects have become more dicey.
"Dubbed the 'Billification' of Sen. Clinton's campaign by some insiders, Mr. Clinton has become something of a strategist-in-chief in recent weeks. He has been pushing for harder and sharper attacks on Sen. Obama. While she has jabbed her opponent over his 'elitist' tone and controversial statements by his former pastor, Mr. Clinton delivers his own slams on the stump, calling Obama ads misleading."
He is even said to have brought Mark Penn back to a prominent role, helping Hillary in debate prep prior to Philadelphia and designing the Osama-bin-Laden fear ad the campaign ran in the closing days in Pennsylvania. He has also been more of a presence back on the campaign trail -- courting the "Bubba" vote and creating hub-bubs, as when he complained in Philadelphia that Obama had played the race card against him.
But it raises the same question it did back in the early stages of the campaign:
Who is really running for president? Is Hillary incapable of keeping Bill out? Is she incapable of running a campaign without him?
It diminishes her. And she's supposed to be the candidate.

Yes, Bill is GOING TO MAKE SURE HE GETS HIS 5 Million dollars back, and also insure that Hillary Soprano losses.
As I have said before HE DOES NOT WANT TO BE FIRST HUSBAND.
He wants to be a BILLIONAIRE FOR BUSH.
He wants to MAKE MONEY.
He does not want history to say that Hilary Soprano was a better President then Bill, all ready Chelsea is saying that Hillary Soprano will be a better president.
Bill will do anything to make sure Hillary Soprano losses even if it means DESTROYING THE DEMOC"RAT"IC PARTY.
So BILLIFICATION WE BE THE DEATH OF HILLARY SOPRANO AND THE DEMOC'RAT'IC PARTY.
What bunk, Riley & Machiavelli. What absolute horse droppings!
