The Clinton campaign released an ad in Pennsylvania on Monday in which various (presumably) small-town folks took shots at Obama over his remark about small-town Pennsylvanians being "bitter." Except, it turns out, one of them just moved to Pennsylvania, and actually already voted in the NJ primary.
Read about it in the blog of the Allentown Morning Call (a sister paper). Here's the ad again -- he's the guy who says the good people of Pennsylvania deserve better.
His name is Clyde Thomas. He's a Clinton volunteer and, amazingly, he told the Clinton campaign before they used him in the ad that he was a recent arrival. His explanation: “I am from a perspective of someone coming into Pennsylvania new like Barack Obama is, and seeing how great they are and how they welcome me.”
