Actually, the biggest favor Fox could do for Obama would be to help him make Wright a "right-wing" story, thus provoking a defend-Obama blowback among Democrats and independents:

I applaud Mr. Wallace's remarks. I often wonder how the people in the media sleep at night. To continually keep playing the Wright video was in no way meant to be a positive outcome for our country. It was most definitely meant to be divisive and incendiary.
