Although talking of Spitzer's accomplishments right now at a news conference, Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver said of the transition to the Paterson administration: "I think there's definitely different personalities involved."
He also said "I don't think he needs orientiation" on how the Legislature works -- which may refer to certain soon-to-be-former governors. He said he regards Paterson until Monday as "de facto governor." He also said he's spoken with Spitzer but declined to reveal private conversations.
