Paterson: A trip to SC, with ex-lover, on state?

capitol325.jpg

In addition to his explanation for 13 hotel stays charged to the state not jibing with his public schedule, here's another problem for Gov. Paterson on the day after he admitted using cocaine in his youth:

The Times Union finds that he and a former lover charged their travel to South Carolina to work on Hillary Clinton's campaign to the state. This being the aide who works in the governor's office.

There's several problems we see buried in this story. Why did he charge a political trip to the state? Why was a woman who was a former lover travelling as his aide when he told the press he never supervised women with whom he had affairs? Why was the woman staying in some of the hotels in Albany that Paterson was staying in, and using a state credit card, just like he did?

The tinder needed to keep the fire burning around Paterson does not seem to be running out. There seems to be more every day.

Maybe the same attention to detail can be paid to Air Bruno.

Enough already! I think NYS deserves much better than this. While most people believe that what goes on in a person's private life is their own business, I don't believe anyone is willing to turn their heads and pretend that our Governor hasn't been up to some questionable things on our "time and money". Did he forget that he is a public official and money and time that he spends belongs to US????? Resign Governor..... the people of this great state deserve better than this.
