Barack Obama apparently sees an opening in the Clintons' mutually incompatible claims that he'd be a great vice president, but he's not ready to take that 3 am call. In Mississippi, where he's leading in the run-up to tomorrow's primary, he said they're trying to "hoodwink" voters:
"That's exactly the kind of doublespeak, doubletalk that Washington is very good at, that people who spend a lot of time in Washington have a lot of experience but is not going to solve the problems of the country.”
“I don’t understand. If I am not ready, how is it that you think I should be such a great vice president? I don’t understand.”
“You can’t say he is not ready on day one, then you want him to be your vice president. I just want everybody to absolutely clear: I am not running for vice president. I am running to be president of the United States of America.”
"I don’t’ know how someone in second place can offer the vice presidency to someone in first place."
One idea: Could it be that they know he is ready to be president, and it's just a ploy? Could it be that the vice-president talk is designed to appeal to black voters in Mississippi who like Obama, and will die out as soon it's served its purpose there? Cynicism of either sort would not be beyond the Clinton campaign.

The Clintons are clearly desperate.
Hillary! Read my lips: INCOME TAX STATEMENT; DOCUMENTS PERTAINING TO PARDON SHADY CRIMINALS.
You are so right Hedcutter, why have those tax returns, whitehouse papers and the shady pardons not been brought to the people so all can see. If the Clintons have nothing to hide why all the hiding and trying to stop things from comming out.One of Mr Clintons main pardons cost us tax payers millions in taxes ,because of the pardon these taxes that were owed were never paid.
