Clinton: Campaign "will go on a lot -- while -- longer"

HillaryChinaHat.jpeg

Despite pressure from party elders, Hillary Clinton has kept mum on what she'll do if she loses Ohio or Texas on Tuesday. But she had a tantalizing slip of the tongue Sunday night during a rally at Cleveland State University.

Referring to her year-long "job interview" with the American people, Clinton said, "It will go on a lot -- while -- longer.

Later, Clinton laughed it off during a quick Q-and-A on her campaign plane, flanked by pals Ted Danson and Mary Steenburgen.

"I know you have to hang on every word I say but sometimes a word is a word is a word," she said, echoing Gertrude Stein. "Most campaigns used to be longer than what we've had in recent years. As I've said also, my husband didn't get the nomination until June. We didn't think anything of it. It was part of what you do. You get out there and make your case to the people. I'm having a good time."

I sure hope so. Go Hillary!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I hope so too. I just love watching Bills monsters of the "ID" in action. I wonder what color she dress she will wear on Tuesday. But beware Hillary Soprano of the IDES OF MARCH.

The majority of the American Black community claims that they want to live in a society where discrimination doesn't exist, but appears they are not practicing what they are preaching. when Obama continually pulls 90%+ of the black vote, it's obvious that most blacks are voting for a candidate because of skin color. The odd thing is people like John Lewis who marched for equal rights jumps on the prejudice bandwagon, I’m sure he realizes what it does to his credibility. Obama camp have been calling African-American superdelegates to target, harass and threaten,” said Rep. Emanuel Cleaver II (D-Mo.), a superdelegate who supports Clinton. Cleaver said black superdelegates are receiving “nasty letters, phone calls, threats, being called an Uncle Tom. Rep. Diane Watson, D-Calif., also is receiving several e-mails from individuals saying they won’t vote for her if she doesn’t change her support to Obama, she should vote for him because she, too, is black. Rep. John Lewis, a black civil rights icon, sadly enough has given into the racial threatning politics of the Obama camp and switched his support from Clinton to Obama.

SHOULD ALL WHITES AND WOMEN VOTE FOR CLINTON?

Black men were given the vote a half-century before women of any race were allowed to mark a ballot, and generally have ascended to positions of power, from the military to the boardroom, before any women .Why is the sex barrier not taken as seriously as the racial one? Why is the black candidate given the continued media free pass and coronation and refusing to discuss his record. My family and friends have been following the 2008 Presidential election and feel overwhelming compelled to express our sadness, disgust witnessing the continued unfair disturbing treatment that Senator Clinton continually receives from men in the media. WE were frankly surprised to see how many men are threatened by Senator Clinton’s abilities, just read the articles. The daily gender discrimination and horrible names Senator Clinton is called, forced my family and friends to research candidates like obama ourselves since the media is no longer fair and unbiased. A black man has a better chance in this country than a white woman. It’s a shame that media keeps the race issue going in an attempt to disguise their gender discrimination against smart educated and powerful women. WE are tired of the race card that the media is creating and pushing in the face of voters. The media has dropped the ball. We the viewers and most importantly the VOTERS looked to news stations and newspapers for unbiased FACTS about ALL the presidential candidates to assist voters on making a wise and educated decision on who will run our country. Unfortunately you prove daily/hourly that your biased and often racial tabloid news It’s a disservice to our great country that you attack and discriminate a white female Senator and Former two term First lady who has done a great deal of good in 35 years of political service to our country that is dismissed and ignored for fear of upsetting a black candidate and his racial supporters. You should be ATLEAST reporting the differences and giving obama the same microscopic personal attacks that you continue to do to a white female United States Senator. You have no credibility in reporting the news. If we wanted this type of so-called news, we can buy the National Enquire. Women in this country should stand up and not be bullied by these men who do all they can to keep women underpaid and treated unfairly.

GO HILLARY
Your remark and comment is very offensive but it is typical of the ignorance shown by your candidate and her surrogates including you.
I did not read any such obtuse commentary when Hillary led Barack among black people and he was said not to be black enough. When you use black surrogates to insult a black leader that is seen as sacrilege!
No one accused blacks of racism when they voted en mass for Bill and put him twice in the White House. The Clintons and their surrogates wrongly thought the black vote was theirs to take and showed unbelievable insensitivity in their remarks about black icons.
Hillary gave a contrite apology last week for any offence caused by her husband but not herself. You cannot disparage the Rev Martin Luther King and not expect retribution. She is reaping the whirlwind she caused.
Your comments explain to me why she has not apologised unreservedly for her insulting black sensitivities around the World. White America has numerous heroes and icons. Black America has but a few and nobody will be allowed to denigrate their achievements especially when they paid with their lives.
Addressing the issue of John Lewis, his constituency felt so incensed with the Clintons that they voted 4 to 1 for her opponents.
Do you really believe that John Lewis will be returned if he goes against the overwhelming wishes of his constituency? You obviously know next to nothing about democracy!

Most Americans unlike you and some Hillary supporters are not consumed by sex and race. Most White people given the chance to vote are voting overwhelmingly for Barack and against Hillary; white males (are they racists?) the young (are they racists?), the educated (are they racists), the well to do (are they racists?) now the Hispanics and yes women are also joining in. They are voting for character, integrity and judgment. They are not buying that 35 years of experience ruse and all that talk of national security experience. Hillary and her surrogates assume the voter is stupid and cannot reference information for themselves so they put out there all manner of false claims and misleading information in the HOPE that people will not find them out. Well well!

People are voting for policies and electability and not a female genitalia. It is about time you did too!
