Chelsea: Monica none of your business.

chelseahillary

When Bill Clinton was accused of having sexual relations with an intern in the WH, he denied it. Hillary -- totally believing him, she claims -- then famously went on TV and said the whole thing was some trumped up effort to get the Clintons by a "vast right-wing conspiracy."

As it turned out, while the right-wing was out to get him from the get-go, in that particular case Bill had done what he was accused of doing, and lied about it under oath. Hillary was, more or less, pointing away from Bill, when Bill had done what he was accused of.

So today, Chelsea is asked during a campus appearance in Indianapolis whether her mother's credibility had been hurt during the Lewinsky scandal. Her answer:

"Wow, you're the first person actually that's ever asked me that question in the, I don't know maybe, 70 college campuses I've now been to, and I do not think that is any of your business." The crowd cheered her.

No doubt it's a primal instinct for Chelsea to say "none of your business" when the name Lewinsky comes up. And for any crowd that has come to see Chelsea in the first place, it's probably a pretty good political instinct, too.

But the fact is that her father had engaged in wrongful acts and lied under oath, and her mother -- at best, ignorant of the facts -- quite consciously put the issue on a political track that consumed the Congress and the executive branch and divided the country for a year.

From there, there's a lot to discuss. But since when is a question about it "none of your business?"

What do you expect from HILLARY SOPRANOS little princes The TRUTH.

It's ALL the public's business when mom is running for President.

Chelsea,

It IS our business.

Monica may have owned the blue dress.

But the taxpayers of the United States all owned the carpet.

Obviously this is the home base of the 'Death of Civility" crowd.

The truth is, Chelsea is smarter than both her parents, because THAT should have been their answer from the very beginning.

I can't imagine what kind of creepy people think it's ok to ask a girl that about her parents. Come into the daylight, get some color in your cheeks, air out a little. It must get lonely under those rocks.

Most of all, grow up. You'll find out sex isn't a dirty thing, but it is a private thing, unless you're self-righteous, abusive Eliot Savant.

Radicals & Reactionaries, come toward the center, it's a lot healthier here, and a lot less mean!

Please explain how the President's wife "quite consciously put the issue on a political track that consumed the Congress and the executive branch and divided the country for a year."

has anyone heard chelsea speak...i mean really speak not the 5-10 sec clips on tv...

her parents are bill and hillary clinton... shouldnt she know how to master public speaking by now

Chelsea needs Toastmasters Table Topics for a few meetings.

She lied when she said "vast right wing conspiracy."
