AKA George Fox: Merry Christmas

Reports in the NYT and elsewhere indicate that Gov. Spitzer was using the name of George Fox, a campaign contributor, in some of his assignations and for the room where he met a prostitute in Washington in February. Fox, reports say, didn't seem to have a clue.
The picture at left appears on the Albany Times-Union's Capitol Confidential blog on Dec. 25, 2006. It's a Christmas Card picture of Spitzer's family, on the beach. The TU reported:
"The photo of the family on the beach was taken by Connecticut Pamela K. Fox, who, along with her husband George Fox, a hedge fund manager, contributed some $100,000 to Spitzer’s gubernatorial campaign this election cycle, maxing out the individual contribution limits.
"The Foxes are longtime friends of the Spitzers, according to a source familiar with the relationship, and the two families have vacationed together, which explains the warm-weather holiday photo."
Really strange stuff.

Yes the ALBANY TIMES USELESS THE PAPER THAT GOT THE TROOPERGATE SCOOP. THE PAPER THAT IS SO CLOSE TO THE GOVERNOR. I WONDER IF THE OWNERS WILL NOW LOOK INTO THE RELATIONSHIP OF IT'S REPORTERS AND THE EDITORS TO THE PEOPLE THEY COVER. THE FORTH ESTATE NEEDS TO CLEAN UP IT'S OWN ACT.
