Video: New Obama ad with Edwardsian appeal

Our Rudy coverage has ... slowed. So coming down the Democratic homestretch, we'll be paying a little more attention to Obama, as well as focusing on Hillary.

This is a new ad that Obama put up today in Wisconsin, following on a big economy speech hitting trade policies that export jobs at a GM plant in Wis., and trying to link the Iraq war to lack of investment in the domestic economy.

The ad focuses on companies moving overseas. Tag line: "Enough is enough."

It seems like an appeal to Edwards-type, white working-man voters. Maybe it's an appeal to Edwards? Or the groundwork for an Edwards endorsement? Or insurance in case Edwards endorses Hillary? He is said to be of two minds -- likes Obama's message, not sure he's ready to be Prez.

The ad comes as Hillary puts up her own Wisconsin ad here, attacking Obama for not agreeing to a Wisconsin debate. He's bidding for some of her blue-collar support, and answering her no-substance argument, while she's honing it by attacking him as just a speechifier. Who wins the exchange?
