Siena: No Spitzer rising

A new Siena poll out today contains what has now become the dog-bites-man Albany story: Gov. Spitzer is not doing well.

It's another bit of evidence that Troopergate and the licensing illegals issues did not cause temporary dips, but some kind of lasting reassessment of the governor. The polls find he's at 41-46 on favorability, 33-65 on job performance. Only 25 percent of voters are prepared to re-elect him.

Here's the job performance chart since Jan. 07. The rising line is people saying fair or poor:

don't think I have ever witness a Governor piss off more groups of people then the "Over educated" Spitzer.

Illegals & Drivers Licenses for them (Hillary Clinton still feels the smack on her face from this one)

Abortion Demands above & beyond Federal Stature

Gay Marriage (Polls show that Democratic African Americans are against this one)

Unable to work with his Party or reach across the aisle to work with the GOP for sure

Spitz has created problems in areas that they did not need to be created.
The "Steam Roller" has a shot of being a one term Democratic Governor in a Democratic State.
