Tennessee: Remember Jim Cooper?

Fifteen years ago, when she was redesigning the nation's health care system, Hillary rejected a "moderate" alternative designed by Tennessee Rep. Jim Cooper that was designed to get bi-partisan support. She wanted to do it her way, which went nowhere.
Now, Cooper turns out to be Obama's chairman in Tennessee, where Hillary popped up last night to receive the bad news from voting in South Carolina. And he doesn't seem to be among the group that buys Hillary's I-learned-from-my-mistakes version of the health debacle. Cooper, quoted on VolunteerVoters.com:
“In the early 1990s, the Clintons wanted no Republican support on their health care plan. They didn’t have the Democratic votes in committee and her plan went nowhere, just as I had warned them. Hillary Clinton hasn’t changed her stripes on health care … Does the American public really want 28 years of Bush-Clinton-Bush-Clinton?
"I am not surprised about Obama’s big win in South Carolina and I believe it will carry over into Tennessee. The big Test will be super Tuesday.”
