A Quinnipiac poll out this morning shows Florida has become a two-man race on teh Republican side, between Romney and McCain, at 32-31. Rudy is way down in a battle for third with Mike Huckabee, with a 14-13 edge.
This is pretty consistent with other new polls. Zogby has McCain at 33 and Romney at 30, with Rudy and Huckabee down in the standings at 14 and 11. And Rasmussen shows McCain and Romney deadlocked at 31, with Rudy at 16 and Huckabee at 11.
Rudy, however, ain't giving up. He calls himself "resilient" on CBS this morning, refuses to call Florida a must-win, and puts up this web video, arguing that all the "liberal newspapers" (in Florida, and the NYTimes) that haven't endorsed him prove that he's the right Republican for the job.
It doesn't, however, throw Fla. Gov. Charlie Crist and Fla. US Sen. Mel Martinez into the pot of non-endorsers whose non-support is a plus in Rudy-land:
