Obama roundtable follows the script
Think these campaign listening tours are getting a little scripted?
The Barack Obama campaign organized an "economic roundtable" of South Carolinians, scheduled with the Illinois senator for 11:30 a.m. today. But nearly an hour and a half before the event -- at 9:36 a.m. -- the campaign e-mailed to reporters a text of what the participants "said."
"At the Columbia roundtable, Donna McGreevy, a mother of two grown sons, said her family was feeling pinched on all sides by the weakening economy," the e-mail read. “When it comes to the economy I have firsthand knowledge and experience in just about every area where we are seeing problems."
-- Martin Evans in Columbia, S.C.

IMO...Dems have trouble...Down the road media and voters will focus....
On Clinton.....
Clinton promised to promote WNY to Corporate America and bring 250,000 new jobs and economic development into Western New York seven years ago.
Instead of promoting WNY to corporate America as promised, Clinton was running across American since that election promoting herself as President....end result, forgetting those in WNY.
By the time Clinton was running for her second term, Western New York LOST another 25,000 Jobs. 35,000 Homes have abandoned by people who have left WNY because they can't sell them to buyers. (Source NY Times)
Clinton will be a "Lighting Rod" for the GOP Base with stories like this.......
On Barack Hussein Obama............
Obama was just a "State Senator" a very, very short time ago. (Illinois) Obama was doing Park dedications, Baby Seat Laws and Street namings just two years ago...
Obama is looked by many as a "Motivational Speaker" who reads off the Tele prompter. Wet behind the ears....
This whole play you are seeing now between Clinton & Obama is a "Feel Good" play by the media. It will come to an end on Feb 5th.

you sure they weren't posting comments from his earlier roundtable that day in a different city? Just making sure...
Yet another reason to vote for John Edwards!
WooHoo!
Our entire family is voting for him - even the Republicans!
I sat down with Senator Obama on Saturday February 9th, 2008 in Bangor, Maine for a roundtable discussion on small businesses and the economy. Senator Obama did not know any of the questions we (four people) were going to ask. We did not discuss with anyone or each other what we would ask. In fact I asked a series of questions and he answered every one in detail.
It is time that you realized that your spin is complete crap. You knew those questions were from a previous roundtable. Keep on living in your Bill Sexual Harrassment O'Reilly world.
