Former New York City Mayor David Dinkins, sharing the stage with Hillary Clinton at the predominantly-black Benedict College here, prefaced his introduction by saying "She may be offended by this."
Speaking of Clinton's seven-year campaign to de-demonize herself with GOP legislators, Dinkins said, "When she became the senator she didn’t walk into the senate with the attitude that I am the former first lady... She did everything but fetch coffee for the Republican senators and she won them over."
