Hill backs down on controversial Obama/GOP radio ad

The Clinton campaign may be blasting away at Obama from a lot of different directions (see item below from Thrush) but it has pulled a radio ad which sought to link Obama to a group of Republican ideas that he has never supported.
The ad, which was up for only 24 hours, was the latest in a flurry of Clinton efforts to exploit remarks Obama made that said the post-Reagan Republican party had been a "party of ideas." Bill Clinton said Obama had called them "good" ideas, which he never did. Hillary Clinton claimed Obama had said he "really liked" the ideas, which he didn't.
The radio spot appeared to be a clever attempt to finesse the controversy by quoting Obama and then asking questions: "Ideas like special tax breaks for Wall Street. Running up a $9 trillion debt. Refusing to raise the minimum wage or deal with the housing crisis. Are those the ideas Barack Obama’s talking about?"
Obama responded with an ad saying Hillary "will say anything to get elected." A Clinton spokesperson defended the ad as "straightforward," but today the campaign said it was pulled because "we are on schedule with our closer ads starting."
Update: And, Obama has pulled his response ad, too.
