Rudy Giuliani might have another rough night tomorrow as new polls show him slipping to fourth place here. But Team Rudy can take a small bit of satisfaction out of one thing – suddenly everyone LOVES the so-called Feb. 5 strategy that Giuliani has been touting all year.
Hillary Clinton jumped on the bandwagon after losing Iowa. Now even Mitt Romney is getting on board.
Giuliani’s idea is that he can afford to lose now, then come roaring back in the mega-primary Feb. 5, when big states chock full of delegates like New York and California vote. It’s a national strategy, say his advisers – but political pros call it risky at best. Even Giuliani calls it “unconventional.”
But after losing Iowa and facing a second loss here, Hillary Clinton is talking a lot more about her own Feb. 5 strategy. Ditto Romney, who once banked his whole campaign on winning those two states. Things look a lot different now that he's in deep trouble and might go 0-for-2.
“He could lose New Hampshire because he’s got a national campaign," insists Colorado Rep. Tom Tancredo, who dropped out of the race recently and now backs Romney. "He could still win this thing.”

In case you were bored or if you cared......
Nothing changes from my comments on this blog since the summer, this whole play continues as I believed it would. Thou, I admit some of my tips came from the National Campaigns.
Here are my predictions for NH Primary....
(This is even easier then the picks from Iowa)......
On GOP side...............
McCain wins NH, he has worked the state for some time now. Playing the "Foreign Experience" card well. The Independents come to McCain.
Mitt comes in second, doing so again because of him showing "Flip-flopping" on ALL social issues in the past years & being "Robotic & The Establishment Pick" will hurt him yet again in this state as it did in Iowa.
The air of continuous arrogance still lingers off his" Know it all Campaign Team" by many.
I agree with the recent polls,
Look for Huckabee to do better then most expect in NH! Double numbers for him in NH. He has outside shot of knocking Rudy off from third place.
Rudy needs to fight for third place finish in NH and could have some problems achieving this goal.
If.....Rudy comes in forth, expect media PR problems again for him. Rudy best high tail it down to Florida and work the "Panhandle" where his numbers are taking hits and reflecting in those polls (Social Issues problems in Panhandle)
A loss in Florida would be the Final Torpedo in Rudy's ship at that point……Come Florida, Rudy's ship will have already taken three in the engine room and will be listing big time……Rudy would be done in this election if NY transplants do not come through.
Rudy is already toast in NH, MI & SC. He could now behind in Florida....Finally, Rudy is out of money...... Bye-bye Rudy?
And to the New York State Republican Party -
For "Forcing" Rudy onto the NY GOP Organization rank and file members, Shame on you again.....You did it with Jean Pirro for US Senate and Bill Weld for Governor last year and now Rudy this year!
When will the GOP learn about their selections and picks and membership involvement with their organization?
On the Dem side...........
Barack Hussein Obama - Comes in first place and the media will go frantic as they continue to have a story to keep viewership up on their cable TV networks and papers drawing interest by this.
Barack needs to improve on TV Debate skills. Thou, Obama speaking skills on stage, his rock star status, are great. Again his inexperience in government will come back to possible haunt him....Unless America continues to over look this important point and focus with amazement on his speaking skills.
Hillary Clinton, comes in second...which continues the Obama spin that the public has had it with "Old ways & Establishment picks"....This is scary for Clinton as a signal is being sent strongly by the voters.
Clinton campaign is built on a "Marathon" level and goes no where but forward and should win it all at the end.
Edwards, third place Tuesday night, might stick around to SC then fade away.
Finally two quick points,......
The Power of the Internet ... Older Generations best brush up on this new found power or be left behind as the dinosaurs.....Along with ATM Cards, Cell phones, DVD's & Blackberries....
100 million people use and share in "My Space"......
Howard Dean has proved this new power four years ago by raising millions off of the Internet and using his website as an ATM Machine.
George Allen is NOT running for President and lost his seat in US Senate because of in part to...His "You Tube" comments that where played on the Internet then TV for all to see...
Ron Paul has raised millions of the Internet, he too using his website as an ATM Machine...
And Huckabee credits his "Bloggers" for conversion of voters and his rise to the level he is at today.....
And...
Question - Candidates today...Must they be photogenic, pounce on a stage with grace and have quick wit to be acceptable to the American voters? If that is the case, Abe Lincoln could never be elected as President by today's media standards.
Jim Kelly - NY Conservative Campaigns
