Steve Levy's ambitions: the rumors denied

Scenarios in which Suffolk Executive Steve Levy plans to run for governor in 2010, perhaps as a Republican — or if for any reason the post becomes vacant — keep getting whispered around his home turf. Levy spokesman Mark Smith says: “There’s no truth to the rumors. Those scenarios have never been discussed.”
