One local business official talking about the visit last week of Gov. Eliot Spitzer visit to Long Island said, “Whoever thought we would have elected Jim Lack governor?”
The official was referring to the former East Northport state senator who retired to become a Court of Claims judge after he became mired in a “road rage” incident.

Spitzer appoint the PI who supposed traced a threatening phone call to a phone he said was "most likely controled by Roger Stone" to a cushy part time appointment which pays $49,500 a year.
This sure sounds like a "Pay-off" to me..
Richard Milhous Spitzer rides again!
If what Andrew Miller wrote above is true, then Spitzer really is as bad as some inside people believe. Can this be verified? Personally, I think he has the potential to be worse than Nixon. There is something seriously wrong with a person who operates in this manner, especially a chief executive.
Talk about road rage, will HILLARY SOPRANO pull a Howard Dean ?

Hillary Soprano had a big lead
Hillary Soprano had a great fall
All of Penns polls, and all of Hsu money.
Could not put Hillary Soprano back into the lead again.
IN THE END THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE WHO WAS PRESIDENT NOT TWO
ITS BILL STUPID. NOT HILLARY SOPRANO
So who is this "business official?" Was he even there when Spitzer came to LI? All raccounts I've heard about Spitzer's visit last week to LI wre upbeat and positive; even complimentary toward Spitzer. Perhaps the "business official" is upset he wasn't invited to one of the events Spitzer did. The real question is why the quote was even reported if the "business official" is too gutless to be identified. The "business official" is probably trying to make him or herself seem relevant.
